With over 20 years of experience repairing equine wear, it became apparent that there was a sharp decline in the quality, functionality and workmanship in the equestrian marketplace. Traditional craftsmanship was being replaced with disposable product options. This frustration, along with a lifelong passion for horses, led to the creation of a new, innovative, fashion-forward brand of equestrian goods. MADE IN CANADA - MADE TO LAST.

A vast geological region resembling a horseshoe, the Canadian Shield is known for its lush forests, deep, clean lakes, rugged, ancient mountains and rich mineral deposits. Awed by its wonder, we were inspired to create an equestrian brand that encompasses the Canadian Shield’s strength, diversity and enduring beauty.
